On Strand the food is made from scratch, by using fresh products from local producers.
The recipies are in her fingertips and the secret ingredience are love straight from the heart.

A meal on Strand is like a sunday dinner together with the family, except one thing, I'm afraid. The view from the restaurant window at Strand, overlooking the Lake Espedalen with the mountains behind - is unbeatable.
We can offer you genuine courses from Thailand. Courses made from old, proven recipies that has been given fram mother to daughter for generations. Courses like:

Popia - a kind of spring roll with chicken, vegetables and glassnudles.

Tod man pla - spicy fishcookies on sik from Jotunheim fish, curry paste and vegetables.

Soloh- fishfilled bellpepper on sik from Lake Espedalen in coconutmilk.
Pat thai - fried ricenoodles with shrimps or chicken, vegetables, peanuts and chilli Kao mokk - yellow curry-rice with chillisauce and fried chicken to mention a few......
The menu is build up like it is in Thailand where YOU as a guest decide how many courses we put on the table, up til 12 different taste experiences in one and the same seating.
She does not only know Thai cuisine, but makes very good Norwegian food too, that she have learned while working in several different hotels in Norway.
Norwegian or Thai, spicy or "normal" - the choice is entirely up to you.
